Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has hired Christopher Rugullies as senior vice president, regional relationship manager.
Rugullies will work with businesses in southern Maine and identify solutions to meet their financial needs.
“I am super excited to join Bar Harbor Bank & Trust," Rugullies told Mainebiz. "This is a bank that has very strong expertise supporting the needs of commercial businesses and non-profit organizations from large to small.
"But what really got me here is the bank’s hunger and motivation to do business, and a really positive, driven culture. That all aligns well with who I am.”
Rugullies has more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking. Prior to joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, he was senior vice president and commercial market manager at Camden National Bank.
He began his career in 2002 as a commercial credit analyst at Fleet Bank, which was subsequently acquired by Bank of America. Later in his career, he spent 10 years at TD Bank, starting as an assistant vice president and commercial loan portfolio manager and working his way up to vice president and commercial loan officer.
The Lisbon resident received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Southern Maine. He has also completed courses in the MBA program at Southern New Hampshire University.
Rugullies is an active volunteer in the community. He serves on the Lisbon School Committee and is a volunteer classroom teacher with Junior Achievement.
