CarMax Inc., which is based in Richmond, Va., claims to be the nation’s largest retailer of used cars and operates 185 stores in 40 states.
In celebration of the South Portland store opening, CarMax and The CarMax Foundation awarded $7,500 in donations and grants to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine’s South Portland Clubhouse. Support for this organization came at the recommendation of the South Portland CarMax associates.
