CashStar, the Portland-based digital gift card company, announced Thursday its expansion to a second office to accommodate the additional workers needed to keep pace with the company’s growth.
With the addition of 5,000 square feet of office space, CashStar now has more than 16,000 square feet of office space in Portland, according to a company press release. The additional office space will support continued hiring in engineering, product management, client services, marketing and sales.
CashStar, which was recently named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, was ranked No. 6 among software companies and No. 103 overall.
The announcement follows closely the appointment of Ben Kaplan in early October as CashStar’s president and CEO. Founding CEO David Stone left the company in May.
More than 300 companies rely on CashStar to handle their prepaid and digital gift card programs, including Best Buy, Brookstone, Staples, Starbucks and The Home Depot.
