Kennebec Savings Bank has hired Michael Pietroski as vice president and retail regional manager for central Maine.
In his new role, Pietroski is tasked with overseeing the bank's branches in Augusta, Waterville, Winthrop and Farmingdale.
“With growing up in Winthrop and spending a lot of time in the Greater Augusta area it truly feels like I’ve come home since starting my role at Kennebec Savings Bank," Pietroski told Mainebiz. "I’m thrilled to be working for a bank that is fully committed to the people and communities we serve."
Prior to joining the bank, he most recently served as vice president, business banking center manager at Camden National Bank. He has also held leadership roles at KeyBank and TD Bank.
Pietroski received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Husson University.

"In the short time he has been with us, he has leveraged his industry knowledge to introduce fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that are enhancing the in-branch customer experience."
Kennebec Savings Bank has $1.67 billion in assets and 199 employees at offices in Augusta, Farmingdale, Freeport, Waterville, Portland and Winthrop.
Kennebec Savings was ranked No. 9 among the largest Maine-based banks in the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists, ranked by assets as of June 30, 2023.
