Landry/French Construction has hired a new chief financial officer, a position that was created in response to recent growth within the company.
Steven Luken started with Landry/French on Jan. 2, bringing more than 25 years of financial leadership and his experience as a certified public accountant. According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to Landry/French, he was the director of finance at Chadwick-BaRoss Inc., a construction equipment supplier in Portland.
The position of CFO was created to support a growth spurt the company experienced over the past several years, according to an announcement released this week. As CFO, Luken will lead the company’s financial operations, including accounting, treasury management, financial planning and analysis, and risk management. Luken has a Master of Science in accountancy from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Illinois.
"We’re excited to have someone of Steven’s caliber join the company,” said Kevin French, Landry/French chairman and CEO. “His broad knowledge and expertise will be instrumental as the company continues its growth.”
