Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has appointed Kaitlin Ferland and Kash Keezer to its mortgage loan officers team.
Ferland brings over a decade of experience in real estate lending, and has held several loan officer roles at institutions including Midcoast Federal Credit Union, Connected Credit Union and New Dimensions Federal Credit Union.
She has earned numerous accolades, including the "rising star" award at Midcoast Federal Credit Union and a top-five lender ranking in Maine for CUSO Home Lending.
"By joining Maine Savings, I have the opportunity to not only support our members with their lending needs and pursue my passion for financial education," said Ferland. "This ensures that every member feels empowered and well-informed throughout their journey towards homeownership."
Keezer brings nearly a decade of experience in financial services and mortgage lending to his new role.
"I look forward to leveraging my expertise to provide tailored mortgage experiences that meet the unique needs of our members," said Keezer.
"It’s more than just getting people into a new home. It's about building relationships and being there for our members through one of their most important life decisions."
Prior to joining Maine Savings FCU, Keezer was the mortgage loan officer at Cumberland County Federal Credit Union. He has also worked at several other banks and credit unions, including KeyBank, IC Federal Credit Union and the University Credit Union.
Keezer received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Husson University.
Maine Savings FCU was founded in 1961. It has more than 35,000 members, 140 employees and branches in Bangor, Bar Harbor, Brewer, Corinth, Ellsworth, Hampden, Milo, North Vassalboro, Old Town and Portland.
Maine Savings FCU was ranked No. 2 among the largest Maine-based credit unions in the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists, based on $697.1 million in assets as of Sept. 30, 2023.
