Malone Commercial Brokers received CoStar Impact awards for its work in two categories: "Sale of the Year" and "Lease of the Year."
The first award recognized Malone's work in Fork Food Lab's acquisition of 95-97 Darling Ave. in South Portland from seller East Brown Cow.
The transaction exemplified innovative solutions across various elements, including design, public-private partnerships and creative financing, Malone said. The deal is expected to contribute to the revitalization of South Portland and the growth of Fork Food Lab’s mission-driven organization.
Joe Malone and Jennifer Small of MCB represented East Brown Cow in the transaction. Brice O’Conner of the Boulos Co. represented Fork Food Lab.
Fork Food Lab leader Bill Seretta was recently honored as a Mainebiz Business Leader of the Year.
In the "lease of the year" category, Malone was honored for its role in the establishment of Coastline Direct Primary Care at 144 U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough.
The transaction highlighted the ability to navigate key challenges and generate innovative solutions to create a patient-centered, community-driven health care facility.
The lease deal was brokered by Andrew Ingalls of Malone Commercial Brokers.
Coastline was founded by Dr. Kelsey McDonald, who is also the facility’s primary provider.
Ingalls said he believes Coastline Direct Primary Care will redefine health care accessibility in Scarborough and beyond.
“Her commitment to transforming health care is evident, and I believe Coastline Direct Primary Care will not only meet but exceed the health care needs of the community,” he said.
The CoStar Impact awards recognize exemplary commercial real estate transactions completed in 2023 with significant influence in 128 international markets.
