Swan Hospitality Group and Decor Maine named Bar Harbor’s Mount Desert Island Hospital as the beneficiary of donations from the 2023 Designer Showhouse.

The showhouse, at Hamilton Hill in Bar Harbor, will be open for tours July 30 to Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Hamilton Hill will be the fourth Bar Harbor Designer Showhouse, following Brightholme, Vanderbilt Carriage House and La Rochelle.

Kimberly Swan of the Swan Hospitality Group and Swan Agency is the showhouse’s founder and creative director.

This year's designers

This year’s roster includes returning and new designers.

Returning designers will be:

Terri and Gregg Scott
Brett Johnson of MSDCo
Rob Kreig and Mike Rogers of Lark Studios
Annie Kiladjian of Annie K Designs
Larry Stoddard of Distinctive Tile.

New designers will be:

Nina Campbell, Melanie Millner of the Design Atelier
Tim Harrington, Krista Stokes and Mark Cotto of Atlantic Hospitality and the Claremont Hotel
Louise Hurlbutt of Hurlbutt Designs
Nicola Manganello Harnden of Nicola’s Home
Leandra Fremont-Smith of Leandra Fremont-Smith Interiors
Tim Murphy of Tim Murphy Studios.

“Mount Desert Island Hospital is thrilled to be named as the beneficiary of the 2023 Bar Harbor Designer Showhouse at Hamilton Hill,” said Chrissi Maguire, MDI Hospital’s president and CEO.

A preview party will be held July 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
