New England Cancer Specialists, the region's largest medical oncology group and cancer care provider, has elevated its patient-centered program to offer breast surgery.
This new program ensures that patients with benign breast conditions, who are at high risk of cancer, or who have been diagnosed with breast cancer have seamless access to surgical, medical and supportive breast care therapies.
This expansion is led by the addition of Dr. Paige Teller, a breast surgeon who sees patients with both benign and breast cancer diagnoses.
The New England Cancer Specialists will anchor the new medical campus at Rock Row in Westbrook. NECS said it will move its headquarters to 40,000 square feet on the six-acre campus in early 2025.
The medical group said in a press release that it will maintain its Kennebunk and Portsmouth, N.H., locations. The move will allow the physician-owned practice group to expand research and meet the needs of its growing patient base.
Rock Row is a 2.6 million-square-foot mixed-use development and entertainment district built around a scenic 20-plus-acre quarry. The campus includes a Market Basket supermarket and storefronts for REI, Chase, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Cowbell, and other brands. It will also be home to the Rock Row Medical & Research Campus, which is scheduled to open next year.
