Analytics coordinator Nicole Mathuin was named data analyst in the data and analytics department. Cross Insurance, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp. in Bangor, promoted David Branning to regional senior vice president and Eric Jermyn to president of employee benefits. Jermyn, who is based in Portland, most recently served as president of Cross Benefit Solutions while Branning was vice president and branch manager in Portsmouth, N.H.
Maine Community College System in Augusta promoted Betsy Libby to president of Central Maine Community College in Auburn. Libby, who had been interim president since September 2020, has previously served the college as vice president and dean of academic affairs, the dean of student services, the director of admissions and an adjunct faculty member.
The city of Portland announced that the Barron Center, a 219-bed long-term skilled rehabilitation facility, earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough said it was named a “2021 Hospice Honors” recipient by HealthcareFirst. The program recognizes hospices who are providing the highest level of quality care measured from the caregiver’s point of view.
