Thomas College in Waterville hired Mike Akanji as assistant director of graduate and professional studies and assistant men’s basketball coach and Kristin Bishop as assistant director of graduate recruiting. General Dynamics Bath Iron Works hired David Clark as vice president, operations. Clark was previously chief of shipyard operations at Marinette Marine in Marinette, Wis.

Community Care Partnership of Maine in Bangor said it improved care for nearly 17,000 Medicare beneficiaries across the state and saved Medicare $13 million by meeting quality and cost goals in 2021, according to performance data from the federal agency that administers Medicare.
