Norway Savings Bank has promoted its customer relations representative in the Portland market to a trust associate in the asset management group.
Kimberly Bean will be responsible for assisting clients by opening accounts, making transfers and responding to inquiries. She will also prepare reports to support the asset management group team.
Bean has 27 years of customer service experience, including two years of retail banking experience, at Norway Savings branches in the Portland market.
“Our clients are accustomed to working with a knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating team,” said Jennifer Cook, senior vice president, head of trust and wealth management. “Kimberly’s background in customer service and retail banking makes her a great fit for the asset management group.”
In her spare time, she assists with special events like dinners and socials at her church and serves on the financial committee. She has also planned and organized a food drive hosted by the bank's Portland branches to support local shelters and food pantries.
Norway Savings Bank has $1.5 billion in total deposits. The bank is No. 7 among Maine-based banks, based on deposits as of June 30, 2022, according to the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists.
