Portside Real Estate Group and the Portside Foundation said their seventh annual Autumn Equinox at Maine Audubon event attracted over 400 attendees and raised over $20,000 for Maine Audubon.
Portside Real Estate Group’s annual and signature Portside Foundation event, Autumn Equinox at Maine Audubon, was held at Maine Audubon’s Gilsland Farm campus in Falmouth on Sept. 19.
The event featured local food trucks such as PB+ME and Tacos del Seoul, plus live music from wife-and-husband duo This or Better, axe-throwing and a performance from Patrick Shaw, a Maine native who is second in the world for freestyle soccer!
For the third year in a row, the event's emcee was Kim Block, an active supporter of Maine Audubon and its conservation initiatives.
The money will go to Maine Audubon’s educational programs. Most will be used to increase Maine Audubon’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to expand its environmental education and literacy programming to new demographics.
The Portside Foundation is a nonprofit that supports humanitarian, environmental and health-and-youth assistance programs, and organizes and hosts multiple fundraising events and awareness campaigns on behalf of local nonprofits throughout the year. The events generate income through corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, auctions and direct donations. The proceeds go to local nonprofits.
Founded in 2012, Portside Real Estate Group is a boutique real estate agency with offices in Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Brunswick, Belgrade, Waterville Kennebunk and Seacoast New Hampshire.
