PWM service to Toronto on tap

Travelers in Portland will soon be able to fly to Canada on a new twice-daily flight.

Beginning on May 17, Air Canada will offer flights on a 19-passenger plane from the Portland International Jetport to Toronto, according to the Portland Press Herald. With the new service, the Portland airport will have a total of 14 direct destination flights. It will also become the airport's only international flight since Montreal-based Starlink Aviation cancelled its service between Portland and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, last month.
