SMRT Architects & Engineers in Portland said Thursday it added four associates to its ownership team.
They'll also hold the title of associate principal.
“In elevating these professionals to associate principal, we are recognizing the unique and significant contributions they are making to the SMRT enterprise,” said Ellen Belknap, the firm's president.
“Our commitment to our staff is to offer them opportunities to hone their expertise and advance their careers by engaging in the planning and design of projects that solve important problems and bring lasting value to our clients. SMRT enjoys longevity and stability; these professionals will contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.”
SMRT Architects & Engineers is Maine's largest architecture firm, with 17 licensed architects in the state and 85 overall employees, according to the 2022 Mainebiz Book of Lists, which also reported revenue of $24.2 million in 2020. The firm is based at 75 Washington Ave. in Portland.
