He comes to the credit union after working for nine years as the plant controller for Huber Engineered Woods in his hometown of Easton, in Aroostook County. He is also an adjunct accounting professor at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Before working at Huber, he was with Chester M. Kearney CPAs, a tax and accounting firm in Houlton. He spent five years with the company.
His first professional role was with the Bradford Group, where he worked for nine years. During his time with the company, Wolverton worked in Florida, Boston and New York City.
"We are happy to have such an experienced finance professional joining our team," said Ryan Ellsworth, president and CEO of the County Federal Credit Union. "Brad brings auditing and strategic fiscal planning skills to the team."
Wolverton added, “This credit union has strong roots and I look forward to being part of best serving our members."
Wolverton received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Maine and his MBA from Everest University in Florida. He also obtained a strategic leadership certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds a certified public accountant designation.
