Falmouth medical billing co. acquired
Falmouth-based medical billing company AHP Billing Services Inc. has been acquired by a New Jersey firm.
AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions announced the acquisition of AHP, formerly Anodyne Health Partners, at the end of last month, according to a press release. AHP's 100 employees will remain at the Falmouth location and AHS CEO Lee Larson will become senior vice president and head of AHS's New England operations. AHS President and CEO David Langsam said the acquisition will allow the company to expand into the Northeast region and utilize the Falmouth company's expertise in radiology, pathology and office-based physician billing.
In October 2009, athenahealth acquired the business intelligence portion of Anodyne Health Partners, and Anodyne's billing and coding business became a separate company known as AHP Billing Services, according to the release.
