Tony DiSotto, KeyBank’s Maine market president, will also serve as market president for Vermont, the bank said.

The native of Jay, Maine, was named KeyBank’s market president for his home state in October 2022.

In his new role, DiSotto will continue to lead KeyBank’s wealth management teams in both states as well as oversee and coordinate KeyBank’s go-to market strategy across its various lines of business.

He will also serve as the executive face of KeyBank in both Vermont and Maine with a focus on business, philanthropic and sponsorship efforts, KeyBank said.

KeyBank has 10 retail branches in Vermont and 31 branches in Maine.

DiSotto joined KeyBank in 2006, starting his career as a branch manager in Portland. Over the years, he has held various leadership roles within Key’s retail division and also worked as a business banking relationship manager.

Before joining Key, DiSotto worked for Bank of America and MBNA America.

DiSotto holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and an MBA from Norwich University.

KeyBank is owned by KeyCorp. (NYSE: KEY), a Cleveland-based financial services company with assets of $188 billion as of Dec. 31, 2023. The company has a nationwide workforce of around 17,000 full-time equivalent employees nationwide but does not disclose state headcounts.

KeyBank ranks No. 5 among banks with the largest market shares in Maine, according to the 2024 Mainebiz Book of Lists. That ranking is based on $2.6 billion in Maine deposits as of June 30, 2023.
