Scot Draeger, president of Portland-based R.M. Davis Inc., Maine's largest registered investment advisor, has joined the board of the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
Draeger plans to take an active role in the organization and will serve on the nonprofit’s investment, finance and development committees. In addition, he will volunteer at the Brunswick-based nonprofit's kitchens and food banks.
“I’m honored to be part of an organization that is so passionate about helping others in a responsible and sustainable way,” Draeger said.
“I’m committed to making a positive impact through my work here and, together with the board and volunteers, ensuring that no one in our community is left out when it comes to access to nourishing food.”
The Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program is the largest hunger relief and prevention agency on the midcoast. Its mission is to alleviate local food insecurity, offering dignity and empowerment by providing all community members access to healthy food.
