Portland-based R.M. Davis Inc., a private wealth management firm, is expanding its team with five new hires and one leadership promotion.
Erin McCrossin has been hired as a client relationship associate. In this role, she will work closely with client advisors on all operational matters. Prior to joining the firm, McCossin was an operations specialist at Empress Investment Group. She has also held roles at Madison Avenue Securities, Chase Bank, LPL Financial, and Aldridge Pite LLP. The San Diego native received her general education studies degree from Mesa College and her job training certification from the LPL Financial Training Program.
Sophia Spina has been hired as a client relationship associate. Before joining the firm, she was a client service associate at Clearstead Trust. The Scarborough native received her bachelor's degree in psychology and English from the University of New Hampshire.
Marianne Loew joins the firm as vice president and client advisor. In this role, she will provide personalized financial planning counsel and portfolio management services. Loew has over 25 years of experience in finance.
Before joining R.M. Davis, she was a senior portfolio manager at the Colony Group in Concord, N.H. She has also held roles at Bar Harbor Wealth Management, Ledyard Financial Advisors and Investors Bank & Trust. Loew received her bachelor’s degree in international relations and Spanish from Tufts University.
Thomas Thu has been hired as a data and IT support analyst. In this role, he will ensure the integrity of the firm's financial data.
Before joining the firm, Thu was a supervisor in advanced technology and cloud operations at Medical Information Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a minor in physics from Stonehill College.
Alexandra Scott joins the firm as an estate associate. She will be responsible for administering deceased clients’ accounts. Before joining the firm, she was a paraplanner and portfolio administrator at HeadInvest.
She has previously held leadership positions at Back Cove Financial, Partners Travel Management and Ameriprise Financial. Scott received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts.
Beth Brown-Malia has been promoted from operations analyst to assistant vice president, operations manager. In this role, she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations department, including projects and data management work. The Hollis resident received her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine.
R.M. Davis, with offices in Portland and Portsmouth, N.H., has been providing wealth management and related financial services to clients in New England since 1978.
