Zachau Construction, the Freeport-based construction management firm, said the employee overseeing the renovation of the L.L.Bean flagship campus has been promoted.
Santo Carter was promoted to senior project manager, the firm said this week. Carter has 20 years of experience in commercial construction in New Jersey, New York and Maine. The $50 million renovation of the L.L.Bean flagship campus was featured earlier this week in Mainebiz.
Carter's advancement is one of five promotions announced by Zachau this week.
"At Zachau, growth is more than just a core value — it is the driving force behind our success, for both our company and our team. These promotions are not just acknowledgments of hard work; they reflect the experience and dedication that each individual has brought to Zachau. These promotions are well-deserved," said Drew Wing, the firm's president.
Maggie Brescia, who has been with Zachau since 2018, was promoted to project engineer.
Finn Hadlock was promoted to project manager. Finn is currently working on the Agren Distribution Center in Auburn and finished the Mercy Hospital Redevelopment recently.
